Liberals Waging War! (Again)

Liberals Waging War! (Again)

A reprint of my post to the Charles M. Blow(hard) Facebook page, addressed to another gun-grabbing zealot. So let's Cut to the Chase!

The framers of our Bill of Rights knew all too well the dangers of tyranny and death from the very government charged with the responsibility of protecting us, as well as those from outside our borders.

After making minced meat of Pear Harbor late in 1941, the Japanese navy was quite capable of descending like locusts onto our West Coast, but chose not to because, as one of their admirals had put it, “...we'd be facing a gun behind every rock”. The 2nd Amendment is the only reason why untold scores of marine landing craft and paratroopers from the Empire didn't storm California, Oregon and Washington to stage a stateside version of the Bataan Death March right here on US soil.

But back to the Framers --- had they known that a left-wing faction of society would split away like a modern-day ripoff of Jekyll and Hyde, and seek to chloroform everything our Founding Fathers stood for, including public threats of death to dissenters of any kind, the last thing they would wish is to remove from us our means of self defense.

Incidentally, that must be quite an awkward position for today's Liberals: to wage war against virtually anybody who isn't one, including threatening to murder white people and NRA members (or celebrate with a cheese pizza from CiCi’s every time someone else does), and then actually have the guts to demand our guns. Um hm...sure...yeah...try again, Scooter!

True (and I’ve never said this before so it’s a major stretch for me), even I’ll admit there are things sold in gun stores that we could probably do without. And yet, a question please:

Keeping in mind all these high profile --- and quite wealthy --- celebrities from the news and entertainment media, and of course government itself, do you  really think that whatever arbitrary, in-your-face, across-the-board firearms ban is inflicted on us, would actually apply to any of them? Do you really think anyone (on the Left at least) is going to question, say, a Kevin Costner or a George Clooney or a Piers Morgan --- or anyone else who shares their celebrity status --- no matter what kind of gun law is passed?

For those who think not, the line forms on the right. Better bring a change of clothes and a sandwich, 'cause it's  gonna be a long one. js

Charles M.Blow(hard) in an NRA Member's Sights

Charles M.Blow(hard) in an NRA Member's Sights

The following is a post I made to the Facebook page of one Mr. Charles M. Blow, New York Times Communist --- I mean Columnist --- and his laundry list of commentaries demonizing American firearms owners. I felt it was high time that some of us did a little demonizing of our own. Or maybe exorcising is more like it. So without further ado, let's Cut to the Chase...

“You want to talk about the National Rifle Association? OK, let’s talk. Who was it that zealously advocated the genocide of white Americans on some dumb-ass racist television show? It wasn't the NRA.

Who was it that openly threatened to murder a recent presidential candidate just for opposing a malevolent left-wing incumbent? It wasn't the NRA.

Who was it that threatened civil war and bloodshed over a Right-to-Work bill he didn't like --- following a gangland-style attack on innocent people that he apparently did like? It wasn't the NRA.

Who was it who fuel-injected untold scores of assault weapons to border-hopping, drug-running hoodniks, who later turned them on American border patrol agents -- and now I understand another innocent person as well -- and got away with it scott-free, both legally and politically? It wasn't the NRA.

Who was it that screamed at drive-thru attendants at a chicken fast food eatery for weeks on end (not the Colonel, the other one), and staged same-sex love-ins in the name of tolerance while they themselves displayed nothing of the kind? It wasn't the NRA.

And who was it --- that is, who IS it --- who charges NONE of the aforementioned with ANY accountability at all, no matter what they do, including for actions which themselves had also caused death and mayhem? It wasn't the NRA.

So who was it, then?  Here’s a li’l ol’ hint, Chucky: you’ll find the answer --- much of it anyway --- staring back at you from nearest men’s room mirror."

Higher Education is Anything BUT

Higher Education is Anything BUT.

Not to be outdone by the political or entertainment realms --- such as they are anymore --- in terms serving any useful purpose, college academia has tumbled down a perilous slope toward outright obsolescence. There it is. I’ve said it. If you don’t like it, log onto ebay and buy yourself a lovely imitation Tiffany lampshade to shelter you from reality a while longer. Here, I'll even give you their link:

That being said, let's Cut to the Chase! Having fallen prey to Liberal think-tankers the way dope dealers prey on innocent children at your neighborhood middle school, the average college graduate’s only discernible skill is sucking down the perverted ideologies of their professors, and projectile-vomiting them at unsuspecting bystanders faster than Wyatt Earp could sling his trusty Schofield  “44”.

As manager of a nationally-known retail store, I’ve had the disillusioning experience of hiring some of these numb-nuts who were attending, or had recently graduated from, local colleges. With perhaps slight variation, most were pretty much the same:  They could spew Communist politics ‘till they’re blue in the face but couldn’t count change. They could bend your ear six-ways-to-Sunday about organic food, cross-cultural issues or that the Apollo moon landings were staged on a New York alfalfa farm; but when it came to work ethics and people skills, they were patently clueless. And they sure as hell couldn’t sell.  In a nutshell, I would call them intellectual but useless.
My father had been an associate professor at a large Ohio university starting in the early 1960’s. A little over 30 years and a full professorship later, he retired  --- and to this day maintains that it wasn’t a moment too soon. In his three decades at the university, he watched it decline from a stately institution of higher learning to an over-stimulated welfare state and a breeding ground for left-wing political correctness, often enforced by organized coercion or worse.

But there was something else, even worse. The very demeanor of the graduates it spawned became shockingly arrogant and self-indulgent --- sharp as nickel-plated pistols when it came to expectations, entitlements and rights, but on matters like responsibility and accountability, there seemed little evidence of recognition or acceptance. Indeed, about the only thing they appeared to be good at was seeking out like-minded disciples and relegating most everyone else to second class citizenship ---at best!

Truth be known, I blame the Disease of Liberalism for most of what plagues America these days, and may well finish us altogether. I blame it for the shocking decline in our moral values and the ineffectiveness of our children’s schools. I blame it for the virtual ruin of the traditional family unit, what had been the very pulse of our country’s strength (while we still had it.) And I blame it for the heart-breaking erosion of America’s identity and independence in the world, as it jubilantly subjugates American rights and liberties to the unspeakable bidding of the United Nations --- itself sufficiently evil as to make the Nazi Party look like the Mickey Mouse Club.

So let's hear it for today's colleges and the pablum-spewing zombies they so earnestly spawn :
Hip hip, GO AWAY!

Like as Not, We Got What We Desrved

Politically-speaking, if you're anywhere to the right of, say, Chairman Mao or Karl Marx (he's the one who played the harp, right?), then I'm guessing you're about as pleased as I am with the outcome of last Tuesday's elections. That being said, let's Cut to the Chase!

I have since learned that while the Democrats had a decreased presence at the polls this year, so did Republicans --- in the latter case to the tune of something like three million. People, wake up and smell the...heck, forget smelling...just wake up!

Those three million votes --- maybe even fewer --- was the margin of the President's victory!

If we learn nothing else from this disappointing event, besides that we had dealt a good man (even by Mr. Obama's reckoning) the heartbreak of his life, let it be that voter complacency never did, and never will, deliver us to any worthwhile outcome. Let me put this another way: we got exactly what we deserved.  js
